In Loving Memory of Marjorie Lee Lambert

She was born in Sorrento and lived in Gonzales. She loved baking, cooking for others, dancing and gardening.  She was loved by many.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Henry Medric Lambert, Jr. and Nora M. Lambert; her brother, Daniel A. Lambert; her sister, Mary Jane Gautreau; sister-in-law, Betty Jo Lambert; brother-in-law, Allen Gautreau; and niece, Diesi Lambert.  She is survived by her daughters, Tye Anne (Daigle) Vidrine, Kayne Marie (Daigle) Spachek, sons-in-law, Mark Vidrine and Joseph Spachek; her siblings, Albert Lambert, Iris “Decky” Landry and husband Joe, Anetha Diamond and husband Harry, Henry Medric Lambert, III and wife Nancy, and sister-in-law Jane Lambert.  She is also survived by her grandchildren: Derek Vidrine and his wife Jenny, David Vidrine and his wife Brittany, Gabrielle Spachek and Rebecca Spachek. Her great-grandchildren were the love her life. Hudson Michael Vidrine and Silas James Vidrine will miss their Gammie.  The pallbearers are Medric Lambert, III, Joseph Landry, Mark Vidrine, Joseph Spachek, Derek Vidrine and David Vidrine.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her name would be appreciated. Margie gave to them faithfully over the years.  We extend thanks to Azalea Estates, Bridgeway Healthcare & Hospice, and MedPass. Tye and Kayne would especially like to thank Lisa and staff at Azalea Estates, McKenzie at Bridgeway and Shannon and Shelita at MedPass. Your care, attention and love for Mom and us will never be forgotten.  Services will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Saturday, November 5th, 2016, with the viewing from 9:00-11:00 a.m. and a mass at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by Church Funeral Services & Crematory, St. Amant 225-644-9683
