In Loving Memory of Carter Earl Williams

He died on Friday, October 14, 2016 around 8:30pm in the loving arms of his daughter, Billie.  He was a veteran of WWII. Visitation will be from 9 am until service at 11:00 am at The Venue, 13475 Hwy 431 St. Amant, on Saturday, October 22, 2016. The service will be conducted by Reverend Ginny Allen. Burial will be at Faithful United Methodist Cemetery. He joins his wife of 68 years, Willie A. Fife in heaven along with his second daughter, Rhonda Earline Williams. He will be missed by his son, Danny Earl Williams & Miss Linda; and daughter, Billie Aline Williams; grandchildren, Ashley Williams & Travis Valentine, Dani Rene’ and husband Brandon Bruno, Carter M. Williams & wife Elizabeth, and Elizabeth & Josh Callegan, and Scott Huye; great-grandchildren, Jersi Jo and Taylor Valentine, Bliss Rene’ Humphreys, Bella and Brandon Bruno, Parker Payton, Jackson Carter, Harper Elizabeth Williams, Jacob and AA Callegan; sisters; “Woodie” Ferguson and Zemley Clouatre, Brothers Carl and Gene Williams. Carter’s families are residents of St. Amant and Gonzales. Preceded in death by his parents; James Grandison and Lula Neita Singletary Williams; brothers, Comer, Glenn, Rex, and Long Williams; and sister, Melissa Morrison.  He will never be forgotten.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Luke’s Methodist Church, 2007 Hunters Trail Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70816.  Arrangements by Church Funeral Services & Crematory, St. Amant 225-644-9683  www.churchfuneralservices.com
