In Loving Memory of Larry Joseph André, Jr.

Calla lily picLarry Joseph André, Jr. passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the age of 59. L.J. was a Special Man; a devoted husband, father, grampy, brother; an avid water enthusiast with an amazing talent for cooking.  He adored his family, his travels, and vacations with his beloved wife, Leslie.  His uncanny ability to make people laugh was infectious to all he ever encountered.  Our captain has gone to navigate our course to paradise.  L.J. is survived by his wife, Leslie Baker André; children, Larry Joseph André, III (Channel), Régan, Alex, Samantha (Jonathan); grandchildren, Larry Joseph André IV, Jax and Wyatt, and Charis; siblings, Lanie, Yvette, Deborah (Mark), Troy (Mona), Tracy (Karen), Carolyn (Leo); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Larry Joseph André, Sr. and Zadie André; and his sister, Cheryl Marchand.  The family will receive visitors for a celebration of L.J.’s amazing life on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 2pm – 5pm at Berthelot’s Hall (45110 Stringer Bridge Rd, St. Amant, LA) with eulogy at 3:00.  Arrangements by Church Funeral Services & Crematory, St. Amant 225-644-9683 www.churchfuneralservices.com

My heart breaks for you and the girls. I can’t imagine what you are going thru. I remember all the fun times we had drinking our daiquiri while L. J would cook for us. Jessica looked at him as another Dad. I love you and would love to see you. Prayers for your family. Lots of love
