My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Carol Blom. It is a sad time, and to perhaps share some comfort, please know that our Creator is not indifferent to our suffering. He will soon bring a complete solution. You can read this in your Bible, at Isaiah 25:8, Daniel 2:44 and Revelation 21:3,4. I am very sorry for your loss.
