In Loving Memory of Paul Sloan, Jr.

Sloan, Jr., Paul   cropped resized photoA native of New Orleans and a resident of Gonzales he passed away at 8:20pm on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 after a long battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He was 51 years old.  Visitation will be held at St. John Catholic Church in Prairieville from 10:30am until memorial service at 11:00am on Friday, April 8, 2016.  He is survived by his wife, Brenda Whitney; mother, Patricia Bourgeois; daughter Christine Sloan & son in law, Sheddrick Lewis, and Julia Whitney; sisters, Pamela Kiley, Bernadette Brock & husband Alfred; brother, Clarence Bourgeois & wife Rachel; uncle; Harold Cartner & wife Janet; grandchildren, Christian Sloan, Alexis and Aleigha McGee, and Colton Lewis; father in law, Loden Singletary; best friend, Elliott Bales; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  He is preceded in death by his step father, Louis Bourgeois; brother, George Bourgeois; and mother in law, Norma Singletary.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the JL Foundation, 21223 Waterfront East Drive, Maurepas, LA 70449 .  Arrangements by Church Funeral Services & Crematory, St. Amant 225-644-9683
