Ann May resized photoAnn Buell May, 75, a native of Baton Rouge, LA and longtime resident of Denham Springs, LA, entered her eternal Sabbath day of rest at her home in Belle River, LA, on December 10th, 2015.  She was a retired school bus driver for Livingston Parish at 7th Ward Elementary and drove several years for the Denham Springs High School band which provided much enjoyment and complimented her love of music and youths.  Ann lived and loved her life alongside her partner of 57 years and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  In mentioning a few of her other talents, one would have to include the passing forward of her vitality for life and knowledge for truth.  Always being the one to inspire hope, encourage forgiveness, and have understanding for the trials and tribulations of the ones she came in contact with was an empathy trait that was witnessed by many several times in her lifetime.  Excellent spouse, mother, friend, homemaker, cook, seamtress, crafts maker, fishing partner, homework and special assignments helper, well to tell the truth, the list could go on and on.  Her ability to add meaning, joy, comfort and hope in this world will be sorely missed.  Her motto:  YES YOU CAN!  She leaves to cherish her precious memory, husband, James “Earl” May, children, Kenneth May, Janet Teti, Randall May, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her sole-living sibling, Margie Aydell.  Preceded in death of her father, William Edwin Buell, mother, Margie Elizabeth Buell, brother Vernon Michael Buell, brother, Mark Allain Buell.  Visitation will be from 2:00pm – 4:00pm, at Belle River Baptist Church with service starting at 4pm on Saturday, December 12, 2015.
